Dr. Patrick J. Battista is a board-certified endodontist and owner of Buffalo Endodontics. Born, raised, and educated in WNY, he is proud and honored to serve the WNY community. Dr. Battista is a graduate of Canisius College where he graduated 1st overall as a biology major and summa cum laude. He then attended University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, and again graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Battista was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society, upon graduation, and later served as president.

Furthermore, Dr. Battista completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and an Endodontic residency, receiving a certificate of Proficiency in Endodontics.

Dr. Battista has achieved over 33 honors, distinctions, and awards during his higher education. These include the Fialkiewicz Award for Academic Excellence in Biology, the Ernest Witebsky Memorial Award for Proficiency in Microbiology, and the Donald Kozlowski Memorial Award that is given to an individual judged most respected by his or her colleagues.

Dr. Battista developed a passion for teaching while in school and became a clinical assistant professor at his alma mater in the Division of Endodontics. He truly enjoyed interacting with and developing the future generation of dentists for over 10 years. During his tenure he was asked to serve on over 20 committees, was promoted to Director of Predoctoral Endodontics and then again to Director of Postgraduate Endodontics. Additionally, Dr. Battista received 5 teaching awards, including 2 Educator of the Year awards and a national teaching award.

Dr. Battista is member of 6 professional organizations including the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), the 8th District Dental Society, and being a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

The mission of this Endodontic practice is to serve the patients of the WNY community with integrity, honesty, compassion, meticulous treatment, and professionalism.
